"What Would Jesus Do?"
This question frequently appears as "WWJD?" You can find it on bracelets and on buttons. You can find it on posters, on coffee mugs, and on T-shirts. It seems there are a whole lot of people who are curious about what "Jesus" would do. Well, here's some food for thought...
He would observe the Sabbath (the real one, on the seventh day)
He would observe the "Jewish" feasts
He would observe the dietary laws
He would refrain from participating in pagan festivals
What would "Jesus" do? In short, He would keep Torah! It's recorded in even the poorer translations of Scripture.
My question is: Why do so many "Christians" ask "WWJD?" but then ignore the answer? I believe the answer to my question is that they value their traditions over Scripture, just like the Pharisees and scribes did thousands of years ago. And how did Yeshua respond to them?
And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. (KJV - Mar. 7:9)
I encourage you to ask "What would Yeshua do?"—and then truly follow Him!
I also encourage you to email me with any evidence against what I have presented. I will be very happy to address it specifically.
